Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Pre-K Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire a love of learning in preschoolers. Duties

  • Design and implement innovative curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education best practices, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches.
  • Lead daily classroom activities focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention services.
  • Oversee classroom management, including maintaining organized learning spaces and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements to monitor developmental milestones and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, fostering teamwork and professional growth within the classroom setting.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a minimum of two years in early childhood education roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Background in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles, including literacy education, math instruction, and physical activity integration.
  • Prior experience working in private schools or daycare centers that emphasize early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools and tutoring techniques to support individual student needs. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
