Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have daycare experience, a love for working with young children, and either hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or be in the process of obtaining one.

• Create hands-on learning experiences through play-based activities
• Explore themes like seasons, holidays, and nature
• Encourage creativity through arts & crafts, music, and movement
• Support early literacy, counting, and fine motor skill development
• Spend time outdoors enjoying fresh air and active play
• Build strong relationships with families and maintain open communication

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Maintain daily communication with parents, including updates on meals, naps, and activities
• Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and staff
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications:

• Previous daycare or childcare experience required
• CDA credential (or currently enrolled in a CDA program)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, responsible, and nurturing personality
• Passion for early childhood education

Compensation:

• Pay is negotiable and based on experience, education, and credentials
