Pre-K Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are a faith based school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities.

Duties

• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, including literacy education, behavior management, and classroom management techniques.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Experience in daycare or private school settings is advantageous.
