Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pre-Licensed and Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to ensure accurate clinical documentation.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to stabilize patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or behavioral crises.
- Provide specialized counseling services, including grief counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, medical records documentation, and patient care coordination while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to reach clients remotely, ensuring continuity of care across various settings.
- Maintain detailed clinical notes, medical terminology records, and ICD coding for all patient interactions in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or equivalent; candidates pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply for pre-licensed roles.
- Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or cognitive-behavioral approaches.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
- Strong skills in crisis management, behavior management strategies, patient assessment, and case management practices.
- Knowledge of medical records management and proficiency in telehealth technology platforms is preferred.

Pay: $86,074.61 - $103,659.74 per year
