Dreamtime Learning Hub is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-primary Teacher to join our team. As a Pre-primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of young learners, fostering their development, and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to engage and educate young learners.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and encourages active participation.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress through observation, evaluation, and individualized feedback.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school administration to support student learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Foster a love of learning and curiosity in young children through creative and engaging activities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license for Pre-primary education (if applicable).
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
- Familiarity with educational technology and resources for early childhood education.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
