Job Summary
The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, nurturing, child-centered environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young learners. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons using age-appropriate teaching strategies aligned with the school’s philosophy and curriculum.
Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and conduct interactive lessons using play-based and activity-based learning methods.
- Introduce foundational literacy, numeracy, art, music, and motor skills through creative teaching techniques.
- Prepare and use teaching aids, worksheets, and learning resources.
- Integrate technology and audiovisual tools to enhance classroom learning.
2. Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Ensure discipline using positive behavior-management methods.
- Observe and record children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
3. Child Development & Care
- Foster children’s independence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.
- Support children with individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Encourage participation in group activities, outdoor play, and co-curricular programs.
4. Communication & Coordination
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, concerns, and achievements.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and the academic team.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, assemblies, and workshops.
5. Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, assessment sheets, and portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with the school’s policies, safety guidelines, and curriculum standards.
- Assist in planning events such as festivals, theme days, annual functions, and field trips.
Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferably Early Childhood Education).
- NTT / Montessori / ECCEd certification is highly preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in Pre-Primary / Kindergarten preferred.
- Freshers with strong passion and aptitude for teaching may also apply.

Pay: ₹10,417.21 - ₹30,000.00 per month
