Pre-Primary Teacher – Roles & ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate, play-based and activity-oriented lessons.
- Develop basic skills in literacy, numeracy, language, motor skills, and social interaction.
- Use stories, rhymes, games, art, music, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking in children.
- Observe, assess, and record each child’s developmental progress regularly.
Child Care & Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Supervise children during class, playtime, meals, and transitions.
- Support emotional, social, and behavioural development of students.
- Identify learning difficulties or behavioural concerns and report them appropriately.
- Instill good habits, values, discipline, and manners through positive reinforcement.
Curriculum & Planning
- Follow the school’s pre-primary curriculum and academic calendar.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and learning materials.
- Conduct assessments, maintain portfolios, and update progress records.
- Participate in curriculum planning and development activities.
Parent Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding child progress.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide parents on supporting learning and development at home.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and observation notes.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.
- Assist with documentation, displays, and classroom organization.
Professional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other teachers, coordinators, and support staff.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.
- Follow school policies, child safety, and code of conduct guidelines.
- Continuously update teaching skills and early childhood practices.

Pay: ₹10,418.88 - ₹20,000.00 per month
