Job Description

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The teacher will focus on foundational literacy, numeracy, social, emotional, and motor skill development through activity-based and play-way methods.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
  • Conduct phonics, basic numeracy, storytelling, rhymes, and activity-based learning.
  • Use creative teaching aids, smart boards, and hands-on materials.
  • Maintain daily lesson plans and academic records.
  • Assess student progress through observation and simple assessments.

2. Classroom Management

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
  • Ensure discipline through positive reinforcement.
  • Monitor children during class, activities, and breaks.

3. Student Development

  • Encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
  • Develop fine motor and gross motor skills through activities.
  • Support emotional and social development.

4. Parent Communication

  • Conduct parent-teacher meetings.
  • Provide regular feedback on child progress.
  • Address parent concerns professionally.

5. School Participation

  • Participate in school events, celebrations, and competitions.
  • Assist in admission counselling when required.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline).
  • Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (Montessori / NTT preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in pre-primary teaching (preferred).

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills (English mandatory).
  • Patience and love for working with children.
  • Creativity and storytelling ability.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Classroom management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
