About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer (AV) to join our team. The role involves providing technical and consultative support to clients and the sales team in designing and delivering innovative AV solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in AV systems and the ability to translate customer requirements into tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering
• Engage with clients to understand business needs (conference rooms, auditoriums, digital signage, video walls, etc.).
• Identify customer pain points, budget, and project timelines.
• Solution Designing
• Design customized AV solutions including projectors, LED displays, video conferencing systems, sound & control systems.
• Prepare system designs, schematics, and detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Technical Documentation
• Develop proposals, RFP responses, and technical presentations.
• Prepare solution architecture diagrams, wiring layouts, and equipment configurations.
• Demonstrations & Proof of Concept
• Conduct product demonstrations and pilot setups.
• Present solution benefits, ROI, and key differentiators to clients.
• Collaboration with Sales Team
• Partner with business development and sales teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Provide technical support during meetings, discussions, and negotiations.
• Vendor & OEM Coordination
• Collaborate with OEMs (Restriction, Ex tron, Bose, Barco, Poly, Logitech, etc.) for product selection, pricing, and compatibility.
• Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and industry trends.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of AV hardware and software solutions.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (AV over IP).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio for system design (preferred).
• Knowledge of government/e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, state procurement) is an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Electronics / related field.
