Pre Sales Engineer - ELV

Doha, Qatar

Position Summary

The Pre-Sales Engineer – ELV Systems will provide technical expertise, solution design, and proposal support for a wide range of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, Video Management Systems, and related security technologies. The role requires close collaboration with clients, consultants, vendors, and the sales team to ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially competitive, and compliant with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or IT-related field.
  • Experience: 4–6 years of ELV/security systems design, with at least 2 years in a pre-sales role in the Middle East.
  • Certifications (Optional): MOI-SSD approval, Milestone/Genetec certifications, CCNA, PMP (advantage), or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Design and integration of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Public Address, ANPR, and other ELV systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MOI-SSD compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Visio, and ELV design tools.
  • Networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, routing, switching).
