Role: Pre-Sales Functional Consultant
Location: Hyderabad – Work from Office
Role Summary
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant with strong lending domain expertise to support sales pursuits by understanding customer requirements, preparing and delivering impactful presentations, and identifying appropriate solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and functional solutions in the lending space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Engage with prospects to understand Corporate lending business requirements across products such as agency lending, syndication, participation, bilateral, microfinance, Islamic,etc.
- Analyze client pain points and identify suitable solutions aligned with business and technical capabilities.
- Support sales teams in RFP/RFI responses, solution design, and proposal development.
- Presentation & Client Engagement
- Prepare high-quality pre-sales presentations, demos, and solution decks tailored to client needs.
- Deliver client-facing presentations, solution walkthroughs, and capability demonstrations.
- Effectively articulate value propositions, differentiators, and business benefits.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Support
- Work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Provide domain inputs for pricing, effort estimation, and scope definition.
- Stay updated on lending industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Domain Expertise
- Strong understanding of the Corporate lending business, including:
- Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Loan Management/Servicing Systems (LMS)
- Credit assessment, underwriting, disbursements, repayments, and collections
- Familiarity with banking/lending regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Pre-Sales & Presentation Skills
- Proven experience in pre-sales or solution consulting roles.
- Strong presentation preparation and delivery skills for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, business-friendly messaging.
- Solution Identification
- Experience in mapping business requirements to solutions (products, platforms, or services).
- Ability to define high-level solution architectures and functional flows.
- Experience & Education
- 5 – 10 years of experience in Corporate lending, banking, or financial services, with at least 2–3 years in a pre-sales or solutioning role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or Finance/Banking certifications are a plus
