Pre-Sales Technical Consultant

Role: Pre-Sales Technical Consultant

Location: Hyderabad – Work from Office

Role Summary

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant with strong expertise in the Corporate Lending domain to support sales and business development teams. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions, working closely with clients to design, demonstrate, and articulate Corporate Lending technology solutions that address their functional and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales & Client Engagement
    • Engage with prospects to understand corporate lending business requirements across products such as agency lending, syndication, participation, bilateral, microfinance, Islamic,etc.
    • Partner with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to support pre-sales activities across lending solutions (Retail, SME, Corporate, Digital Lending, LOS/LMS).
    • Engage with prospective clients to understand business challenges, lending workflows, and regulatory needs.
  • Solution Design & Demonstration
    • Design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with client lending use cases.
    • Conduct product demos, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and technical presentations.
    • Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution architectures.
    • Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with detailed technical and functional inputs.
  • Lending Domain Expertise
    • Provide subject matter expertise across lending lifecycle
  • Technical & Architectural Support
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate feasibility, integrations, and architecture.
    • Support solution sizing, estimations, and implementation approach.
    • Ensure alignment with client IT ecosystems (core banking systems, CRMs, data platforms, APIs).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience
    • 5 – 10+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Technical Consulting.
    • Strong experience in lending platforms, fintech solutions, or banking technology.
    • Proven track record supporting enterprise or mid-market sales cycles
  • Domain Knowledge
    • Deep understanding of lending business processes
    • Familiarity with digital lending, automation, and workflow-driven solutions.
    • Exposure to risk, credit scoring, and decisioning systems is a plus.
  • Technical Skills
    • Ability to understand and explain system architecture, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
    • Comfortable working with technical teams and reviewing solution designs.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven sales environments.
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • MBA or Finance/Banking certifications are a plus.
