Burial Vault Production

This position involves working in a factory environment manufacturing concrete burial vaults. Candidates must be dependable and must be able to work in an industrial environment. This means you will get somewhat dirty while working at our precast concrete operation. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable with this. In addition to performing precast concrete work in the plant, you will be trained to drive, deliver, and perform burial vault setups in local cemeteries.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate overhead crane
• Bend and reach on, around, and into steel forms repeatedly through the day
• Use epoxy and various cleaning solvents
• Mix and pour concrete into steel forms
• Work on feet all day (except during breaks)
• Be safety-minded
• Communicate effectively

Funeral Driver Overview

This career involves working outdoors and providing customer service to deliver and install concrete burial vaults and prepare them for graveside committal services. Professional conduct and appearance are important to our customers and the families they serve more than any other company positions. Our company operates 7 days a week to provide service to our customers during difficult times, so overtime is available, including weekends, some evenings and holidays. Essential Job Functions

• Load, transport, and unload burial vaults in a company vehicle
• Installing vault into a grave
• Assembly and disassembly of graveside tents
• Preparation for graveside service (placing folding chairs / chair covers / artificial grass)
• Sealing and lowering of the vault after service
• Maintain all equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Responsible for all work functions to be performed timely, correctly, and in a safe manner
• Provide a safe, clean, respectful, and dignified burial presentation for the family and guests at the gravesite.
• Communicate all service-related issues with the general manager immediately.

Position Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Be self-motivated and self-monitored with little supervision needed
• Maintain a clean and respectful personal appearance, wearing a clean uniform when required
• This position will require working weekends, as needed
• Must pass a drug screen and background/MVR check
• Must be a team player
• Customer service oriented

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Full body movement, use of all senses, able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
• The job will be working outdoors and being exposed to all types of weather conditions
