Prepress Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Prepress Technician to join our team. As a Prepress Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for print, manage database of files and prepare client artwork and mailings for print production.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily in InDesign and experience in Photoshop and Illustrator. We require great attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Must have a strong understanding of the Prepress process

Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing graphics for print media
• General typesetting and page layout on a range of customer projects including brochures, trifolds, books, postcards, signage, promo produces, mailings and large format
• Preparing digital files, checking fonts, links, colors, creating bleeds, crops, imposing art and exporting print-ready files.
• Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring client files are accurate and the finished job exceeds customer expectations
• Data list cleanup using Excel and mail prep using Bulk Mailer

Skills

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role with a portfolio of past work
• High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign with experience in Photoshop and Illustrator. We will not use Canva.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in fast pace, deadline driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work in team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and add new software as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Work Location: Remote
