Role Overview:


As a Presales Associate, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales engine, supporting the full pre-sales lifecycle while acting as a bridge between sales, delivery, and PMO teams. You’ll work closely with our clients and internal teams to understand their needs, position Data Pilot’s AI-powered solutions, and drive opportunities forward.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Support & Proposal Management


  • Drive the presales process by preparing high-quality, tailored proposals, presentations, and RFP responses. 
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to translate complex AI, data, and automation concepts into client-friendly solutions. 
  • Lead communication with prospects and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely submissions. 


Lead Qualification


  • Identify and qualify opportunities, focusing on businesses that can benefit from AI, automation, and data-driven insights. 
  • Learn and apply our sales framework and ICP-based filters to ensure high-quality pipeline development. 
  • Track and maintain lead and opportunity data in HubSpot CRM and other platforms. 


Platform Management & CRM Operations


  • Maintain accurate pipeline records, deal stages, and contacts. 
  • Independently manage opportunities, follow-ups, and communications to ensure no lead slips through the cracks. 


Cross-Functional Coordination & Knowledge Sharing


  • Collaborate with PMO teams to ensure smooth project hand-offs from sales to delivery. 
  • Contribute to a shared knowledge base that enhances team efficiency and learning. 
  • Provide insights to marketing teams based on client feedback and market trends. 


Training & Growth


  • Dedicate at least 10% of your time to learning about AI, ML, data analytics, and emerging technologies as well as topics of your interest that will help you grow. 
  • Actively participate in sales training, knowledge sharing, and interactive discussions. 
  • Develop expertise to better position AI and data solutions as value-creating tools for clients. 


Requirements:


  • Experience: 2–3 years in presales, business development, or evidence of transferable skills in a tech-driven role. 
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn, proactive go-getter, comfortable with challenges, and excited by new technologies. 
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 
  • CRM Tools: Experience with HubSpot or similar tools is preferred. 
  • Startup/Tech Exposure: Prior startup experience is a plus. 
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AI, ML, data analytics, and data engineering concepts is highly desirable. This role is excellent for someone who has been in the technical role and is aspiring to switch into a junior to mid-level technical sales role.  
  • Location: Must be based in Lahore, Pakistan.
