Must have 12 units in early childhood
PART TIME 5 hours Per day 12:00pm -5:30pm
- Assisting the lead teacher with activities
- Supervising playtime and learning time
- Helping with snacks, cleanup, and routines
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic academic skills, such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colors- Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance- Monitor and assess each child's progress and communicate with parents/guardians regularly- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning communityResponsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic academic skills, such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colors
- Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance
Experience:
- -Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- -Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to manage a classroom of young children with patience and understanding
- Experience in physical education, tutoring, special education, or child welfare is a plusPlease note that this position requires a background check and may require additional certifications or training in accordance with state regulations.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
