Preschool Assistant Teacher!

Children Central is now interviewing for a FULL-TIME Preschool Assistant Teacher!

The hourly wage starts at $15/hr. and can be higher based on teaching experience, education and knowledge of Keystone STARS requirements. We offer VERY competitive wages and fantastic benefits (See Below)!!!

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Make the day a LOT OF FUN for our children!
• Work closely with the other educators in the classroom to create a very nurturing, loving and caring environment
• Develop a creative, fun and entertaining learning program by following the professional curriculum Funnydaffer.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, singing, dancing, art projects, etc.) to teach the students.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional conflicts.
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and DHS safety standards.
• Document daily activities on the app; take photos and videos to send to families.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in a Preschool, or early childhood education
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with young children and their parents
• Proficiency in lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities
• Experience in classroom management and creating a nurturing learning environment
• Familiarity with early childhood education curriculum development and best practices
