Preschool Lead Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood development and literacy education.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate various subjects including math, physical education, and special education needs.
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among children.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
• Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience through shared resources and strategies.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom conducive to learning.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
• Strong background in early childhood education with knowledge of childhood development principles.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience in special education or early intervention strategies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Previous experience in private schools or Montessori settings is advantageous but not required.

Base Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
