Preschool Lead Teacher

We are seeking a part time dedicated and reliable preschool lead teacher January 2026 to June 2026 with possibilities for continued hours during summer with opportunity for full time hire for the 2026 -2027 school year. Our ideal candidate will have classroom experience along with a positive, flexible, and ready-to-learn attitude. We offer medical, dental, vision, 403B, life insurance, and PTO. Hourly $22.00 to $24.00 DOE. Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers is that every child will know that they are special and created in God’s image.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a consistent classroom routine
• Classroom management
• Develop positive relationships with students and families
• Be able to lift a child up to 50 pounds
• Use creativity to implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
• Sanitize, clean and organize the classroom at the end of the day

Application Requirements:

• Faith: Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church.

• High School Diploma

• Short Cert (20 credits)

• Current TB test (within one year)
• Cleared background check
• Completed CPR, first aid, food handlers permit and bloodborne pathogens training
• 30 STARS hours or educational exemption, within 6 months of hire
  
• Ability to discern needs and respond appropriately, sensitively and proactively
• High degree of professionalism
