Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. As a key leader in our early childhood education team, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, manage classroom activities, and support the social-emotional growth of children. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, independence, and social skills among preschoolers.
- Manage daily classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and individualized learning plans to support children’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships centered on child welfare.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instructional practices.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments—including standardized testing—and lesson documentation in compliance with licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education strategies.
- Experience with classroom management tools, lesson planning software, and assessment methods such as standardized testing.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to lead by example while fostering a positive learning environment that emphasizes safety and child welfare.
