Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher who is passionate, patient, energetic, and ready to make an impact. Whether you're an experienced educator or just beginning your early childhood journey, we welcome individuals who are committed to creating safe, supportive, and engaging learning environments for children—including those on the autism spectrum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support developmental goals
• Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment
• Observe and document children’s growth and development
• Build positive relationships with families and collaborate with fellow staff
• Utilize curriculum support provided by the school while bringing your own creativity to the classroom
• Uphold safety and health standards, ensuring a clean and well-managed classroom
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Completion of DCF 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training
• Bilingual {Preferred}
• Staff Credential (CDA, FCCPC, or equivalent) is a plus
• CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
• Able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Experience with children with autism is a bonus, but not required
• Willingness to embrace training and mentorship
