<Responsibilities>
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports children’s social-emotional development through effective behavior management strategies.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring all children are engaged and supported in their individual learning journeys.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships centered on child welfare.
- Manage classroom routines and behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere conducive to growth and safety.
- Assess children’s developmental progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate; tailor instruction to meet diverse needs including special education and early intervention.
- Supervise assistant teachers and support staff, providing mentorship in classroom management and early childhood education best practices.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, literacy education, and Montessori methods.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards; experience with standardized testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Formal training or certification in early childhood education or related fields; preschool experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Toddler care practices, classroom experience involving math and literacy activities, and teaching physical education are highly desirable.
