Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Design and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, literacy education, math activities, physical education, and arts & crafts.
- Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting teaching strategies and collaborating with specialists.
- Maintain effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, developmental milestones, and classroom events through conferences and written updates.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health & safety standards, and childcare policies while maintaining organized records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs such as special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare environments.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and foster a nurturing learning environment.
- Previous experience in private school or daycare settings is advantageous; familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
