Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to create a respectful and inclusive classroom culture that promotes social-emotional learning.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs—including special education and early intervention—and support child welfare initiatives.
- Implement classroom management techniques that maintain safety, organization, and engagement among students of diverse backgrounds.
- Incorporate standardized testing practices when appropriate to assess developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, childhood development theories, and best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
CDA REQUIRED**
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience with toddlers care is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of special education principles and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood educational philosophies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and community partners.
- Experience in private school environments or daycare centers enhances suitability for this role.
