Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children, guiding their development through age-appropriate activities and curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Lead and supervise classroom activities, ensuring engagement and participation of all children.
• Assess and document each child’s progress and development regularly.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s growth and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
• Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations related to preschool education and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a preschool lead teacher or in a similar early childhood education role.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
