Preschool Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social skills while ensuring the overall well-being of each child in the classroom.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Requirements

• CDA, Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children educational setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques.
• Experience with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Ability to provide tutoring or additional support in literacy, math, or physical education as needed.
