Preschool Lead Teacher, Toddler Lead Teacher and Floaters

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. <Responsibilities>

  • Develop and execute creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate curriculum development best practices.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interaction, emotional regulation, and positive behavior management strategies.
  • Use classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, engaging space conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods into daily activities to promote holistic development.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress through observations, standardized testing where appropriate, and regular documentation of developmental milestones.
  • Lead ongoing training for assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare, classroom experience, and adherence to safety protocols.

<Requirements>

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong background in childhood development principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
  • Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and literacy education methods tailored for young learners.
  • Familiarity with Montessori philosophy or other educational frameworks such as standardized testing or tutoring approaches is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with families, staff, and community partners effectively.
  • Experience working in private schools or daycare environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead by example in fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes child welfare and overall well-being. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
