Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Pathways Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Pathways Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. You will be responsible for implementing engaging curriculum activities that align with developmental milestones while fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in various areas of development, including social skills, language acquisition, and physical abilities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
• Incorporate physical education activities to promote healthy lifestyles among preschoolers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a conducive learning environment.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development theories.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in various settings such as childcare centers or private schools..
• Ability to develop engaging curriculum activities that meet educational standards.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
• Understanding of standardized testing practices as they relate to early childhood education.

This is a full-time position for a 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm shift with a one hour lunch and full employee benefits package after meeting 90-day probationary period.

• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.

• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
