Preschool Piano Teacher

Help little ones fall in love with music from the very beginning.

Do you love working with young children? Do you have a passion for music and early childhood education? Have you ever wondered if you could teach music, but weren’t sure you had the right background? If so — and you want to be a key part of an organization that believes music should be fun, joyful, and part of every child’s life — we’d love to meet you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as a preschool piano teacher at Figaro Music Studios:

  • Leading weekly KiddyKeys® preschool music classes for small groups of 2–6 children, using our structured, engaging curriculum (training provided)
  • Singing, dancing, storytelling, and introducing musical concepts through imaginative play
  • Helping students explore the piano and build early musical skills
  • Communicating with parents about class highlights and their child’s progress
  • Assisting with seasonal performances or studio-wide events

Skill Requirements

  • A cheerful, animated personality and natural rapport with young children (ages 2–5)
  • Musical ability: Must be able to sing on pitch, keep a steady beat, and demonstrate basic to intermediate piano skills
  • Experience with children (especially preschool-aged) is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and reliability

Information

  • All teachers are W-4 employees
  • Classes take place at Figaro Music Studios (254 North State Street in Concord, NH) or occasionally at a local preschool or daycare
  • Typical hours are weekday mornings or early afternoons, depending on availability and demand
  • No teaching experience required — we provide full training and ongoing support

About Figaro Music Studios

At FMS, we’re all about sparking a lifelong love of music — starting as early as preschool. Our KiddyKeys program is designed to help young children explore rhythm, melody, and movement in a playful and encouraging environment. We value teachers who are warm, energetic, and excited to share music with little ones.

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team where your voice matters, your needs are respected, and you’re never micromanaged. Most importantly, you’ll make a real impact during a crucial stage in a child’s development.
