SCHOOL OVERVIEW

The Goddard School is a private preschool for infants to Pre-K students with an after school program for elementary students. The Goddard School in Southlake is located in the Mid-Cities area of DFW, west of the DFW airport.

The owner is on-site and hands on and ensures that the school takes a personal interest in every teacher, child and family. Our mission is to develop each child's natural curiosity and creativity in order to provide a foundation to encourage each child's lifelong love of learning.

TEACHER OVERVIEW

At The Goddard School, we believe education and learning should be fun, and are looking for a Preschool Teacher who understands play-based learning, and is positive, cheery & nurturing .

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Create weekly lesson plans that include engaging activities
• Provide positive interactions with preschool students
• Encourage through modeling, feelings of empathy and respect for others and the environment
• Maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Communicate with families, including completing daily activity reports
• Maintain a tidy and organized classroom
• Attend professional development

Teacher Requirements:

• CDA preferred
• Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ years’ of experience in a licensed childcare facility is preferred
• Must be willing to undergo a background check

Experience:

• Preschool: 2 years (Preferred)

Pay Frequency:

• Semi-monthly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
