Preschool Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children meanwhile following our Frog Street Curriculum. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, along with the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, physical education, and overall childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement age-appropriate our lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.
• Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress in literacy education and early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development at home.
• Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and wellness among preschoolers.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior management.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

• Experience in Early Child Education such as Head Start or Montessori School for 2 years
• Certified with a CDA is preferred
• Proven experience in a preschool or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with childhood development theories and practices, including lesson planning and tutoring techniques.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children effectively.
• Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support diverse learners.
• Experience in promoting literacy education through creative teaching methods is a plus.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma
• CPR/ First Aid Adult & Pediatric is preferred (may obtain through job)
• CDA is preferred
• 2 years experience in Early Child Development is required
• Must pass background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
