Job Summary

Duties

• Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and other pedagogical approaches.
• Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities to support holistic development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth in toddlers and preschoolers.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate children's progress and develop strategies for continued growth.

Skills

• Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool settings.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and childcare best practices.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities across diverse learning styles.
• Skilled in behavior management techniques that foster positive classroom environments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches for toddlers, preschoolers, and students requiring additional support such as tutoring or daycare services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
