Job Summary

Duties

- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities to support holistic development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth in toddlers and preschoolers.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate children's progress and develop strategies for continued growth.
Skills
- Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and childcare best practices.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities across diverse learning styles.
- Skilled in behavior management techniques that foster positive classroom environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches for toddlers, preschoolers, and students requiring additional support such as tutoring or daycare services.
