Preschool Teacher

Durgin Pines pre-school is currently hiring a preschool teacher to support our sixteen-child pre-school. Durgin Pines is a senior living community that offers a unique intergenerational program for our students and residents. This program allows our preschool students to interact with our seniors, providing a rewarding experience for all involved.

We are currently hiring a Full-time teacher. The primary purpose of this role is to teach in an intergenerational preschool and childcare program for children ages 3 to 5 years of age using curriculum articulated by the Reggio Emilia curriculum. Growth potential available down the line.

Qualifications:.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and problem solve.
• Demonstrated ability to work physically with young children and ensure safety during indoor, outdoor, and emergency situations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults and children and to deal with the pressures of the field of Early Childhood Education.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid, Transportation, and Water Safety Trainings.
