Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management to support positive social interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress, providing tailored support or early intervention strategies when needed.
• Incorporate specialized techniques such as special education accommodations and childhood development best practices to meet diverse learner needs.
• Conduct assessments for parent teacher check-ins and conferences.
• Work as a team player with other classroom teachers.

Requirements

• Must love working with children and colleagues and enjoy having fun!
• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior private school experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons to foster holistic development.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and students effectively.
