Are you passionate about early childhood education and excited by the idea of living and working in the Colorado mountains?

Ajax Cubs is seeking patient, caring, and enthusiastic Preschool Teachers to join our team in Aspen, Colorado. Our preschool classrooms serve children ages 3–5, focusing on play-based learning, outdoor exploration, and building strong foundations for lifelong learning.

Our educators create warm, engaging classrooms where children can explore, build friendships, and grow with confidence.

Located in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley, Ajax Cubs provides a unique opportunity to teach in a nature-rich environment, surrounded by mountains, trails, and outdoor adventures.

We are a growing early childhood program serving children 8 weeks to 5 years old, with infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. Our team values collaboration, creativity, and building a program that truly supports both children and educators.

What You'll Do

• Create and lead daily schedules and routines for preschool-aged children
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Encourage play-based learning and curiosity
• Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate with families and staff regarding children's development
• Assist with classroom organization, materials, and documentation
• Support children in reaching important developmental milestones

Qualifications

Candidates must possess or be eligible to become an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) according to Colorado Licensing Rule 7.702.45.C.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
