Pressure Testing & PRV Technician

We are looking for a qualified technician with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing, PRV calibration, and valve maintenance. This position plays a key role in ensuring the operational safety and compliance of pressurized systems and electrical components across industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests using calibrated gauges and chart recorders.
• Perform PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) calibration and functional testing.
• Execute valve maintenance and overhauling, including inspection, cleaning, and reassembly.
• Carry out pipe freezing operations for isolation and maintenance.
• Perform electrical safety checks, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Earth Pit Testing, and Megger Testing.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, calibration certificates, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams and engineers for approvals and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5–6 years of relevant field experience in pressure testing and valve calibration.
• Strong understanding of hydro/pneumatic testing procedures and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with chart recorders, pressure gauges, and test rigs.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and test plans.
• Certifications in PRV calibration, PAT, or related testing methods are an advantage.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to safety and compliance
