Job Title: Preventive Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems to reduce downtime, increase reliability, and ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace parts as needed to avoid breakdowns.

Equipment Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

• Monitor machine performance and identify early signs of wear or malfunction.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and perform minor repairs.
• Escalate major faults to supervisors or specialized technicians.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and update PM checklists.
• Report equipment issues, completed tasks, and maintenance needs.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety procedures while handling machines and tools.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with quality and safety standards.

Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest improvements to enhance machine reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support initiatives like 5S, TPM, and Lean activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and follow technical instructions.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
