The Pricing Analyst is responsible for generating, tracking, and communicating pricing activities for new and existing customers. Facilitating pricing activities and reviewing inputs. Also, reviewing, creating, and analyzing data/outputs to contribute trend information for ongoing business strategies or enhance existing processes for A&B.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the daily administration of customer pricing requests. Confirms key details of information required to support and validate pricing structure. Facilitates the generation of turnkey quotations.
  • Acts as the liaison between Key Account Managers, Brand Managers, and various team members across all Sales and Business Development roles at A&B to ensure accurate pricing is being implemented.
  • Assist in Key Account pricing and product submissions through Online Portals or Spreadsheets.
  • Utilize internal reporting to help find gaps within our Key Accounts.
  • Process quotes for new and potential suppliers not covered by established pricing, existing contracts, or historical pricing.
  • Interfaces with internal and external suppliers to effectively resolve input errors and pricing issues.
  • Determines root cause for inaccurate pricing and communicates with sales and sales management to address ongoing pricing issues. Ensures continual improvement of pricing processes.
  • Utilize output for trend analysis, enhancement opportunities, and to identify process gaps in existing pricing procedures and strategies.

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities:

  • Partners with sales to follow up on extremely high-value quotes.
  • Participates in pricing and processing projects, as assigned.
  • Reports on the status of quotes including turn-around times and success rates.
  • Maintain reporting where applicable.
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Will identify, create output, and offer recommendations/alternative views.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of comparable, functional work experience and/or High School Diploma with 3+ years of comparable, functional knowledge
  • Project Management experience
  • 2+ years customer service or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
  • 2+ years’ experience with Sales, sales platforms, and service industry

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, operate a 10 key calculator or PC; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
