PoolSupplies.com is a leading national pool supply company offering all items needed to own and operate a swimming pool. Our goal is to offer all consumers products and brands that they not only trust, but depend on for pool sanitization, safety and fun. The primary method of sales is through e-commerce channels with shipments directly to the end user.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Pricing Analyst Supervisor to lead our pricing team in delivering accurate, data-driven recommendations that maximize profitability and competitiveness. In this role, you will oversee pricing analysis, guide a team of analysts, and collaborate closely with various teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that support our business goals. This job is 100% on site in Tonawanda, New York.

The Pricing Analyst Supervisor manages product pricing strategies to attract new customers, expand market share and drive revenue and profitability for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees pricing, profitability and inventory turnover across platform of 12+ channels and websites. Takes the lead on all things pricing.
  • Leads and develops a small team of Pricing Analyst focusing on analyzing data on sales velocity, competition, profitability, and inventory to make profit-driving price changes across the entire catalog of products on Company websites and channels
  • Implements, actions and innovates analytical dashboards in Excel, Google Sheets and Google Data Studio to increase effectiveness and efficiency of pricing processes, combining data sets and visualizing key data points to simplify decision-making and drive profits.
  • Reviews daily margins, pricing trends and platform competition to ensure catalog of products are always priced correctly and consistently across all sales channels to maximize profitability and inventory turnover.
  • Provides forecasts for top product lines to inform and drive pricing actions and order planning on key SKUs during peak in-season activity.
  • Records and review all metrics for the marketplaces to make sure all requirements are met
  • Looks for opportunities to reduce stock levels of unhealthy SKUs

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical capabilities. Large number of SKUs across many platforms, channels, and storefronts necessitates ability to work with large, complicated datasets and pricing strategies.
  • Evidence of the ability to work with large data sets and translate analysis into actions, profit margins and profitability calculations.
  • Ability to supervise, lead, mentor while creating an environment that encourages and values input and feedback.
  • Well organized and detailed -oriented with the ability to work with many data points across multiple systems from a variety of sources.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and/or Google sheets.
  • Understanding and familiarity with ecommerce marketplace platforms, Amazon, eBay and Walmart as well as ecommerce channel best practices and terminology.
  • Strong understanding of profitability, margin calculations and marketplace fee structures.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to use them at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of NetSuite ERP system and creating custom saved searches.
  • Possesses basic understanding of logistics and processes around shipping, inbound receiving, and purchasing.
  • Experience conducting market research including competitive analysis.
  • Experience with Cart.com software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
