Pricing Specialist

The pricing specialist works closely with the pricing manager, internal departments and sales reps to maintain accurate pricing in the system. This position is fast paced and involves a high level of data entry. They must be able to professionally communicate and follow proper procedures.

THE FOLLOWING DUTIES ARE NECESSARY FOR THE SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE OF THIS JOB:

· Working closely with multiple departments to receive proper approvals when updating pricing

· Make sure that all prices for customers are properly maintained in the AS400

· Accurate data entry for customer/product/buying groups maintenance in the AS400

· Assist Pricing Manager with all audit requirements of the department

· Effectively communicate with salesforce and managers when updating pricing

· Act as a single point of contact for all pricing related questions

· Implement price changes as necessary to maintain category pricing strategies

· Review financial information and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to meet deadlines

· Other duties as assigned

· Ability to work alone and in a team environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with data entry is required

· Well organized, with sharp attention to detail

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· PC and spreadsheet preparation experience

· Previous experience with MS Office

· Good judgement, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

· Experience with AS400 encouraged but not required

· High school diploma or GED

• Must be able to prioritize and remain detail oriented with processes
