SUMMARY
Pricing Analyst/Customer Service Support is responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic price schedules for all levels within the distribution channels. Liaison to internal and external sales staff with various sales supporting responsibilities. This important position contributes to the quality of customer service and the achievement of sales targets

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update/maintain price and sales reports, master files and price sheets
  • Works with Sales staff to maintain price quotations and contracts
  • Conduct cost analysis and market research
  • Manage customer price issues (pricing, billing and credits)
  • Analyze competitor pricing and market trends
  • Maintain and monitor rebates and co-op allowances
  • In-house sales support
  • General office duties (shipments, promo essentials, and special projects)
  • Understand and comply with all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Promote good employee relations and high morale
  • Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
  • All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager

LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience and vast knowledge with large Excel spreadsheets utilizing VLookup functions
  • Analytical and accuracy skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
  • Pricing experience is a plus
  • Add Data Access Studio (DAS) or similar sales reporting suite experience is preferred
  • Associate’s degree required and previous price analysis experience preferred
  • JD Edwards knowledge preferred
