Job Responsibilities:

• Handle pricing activities specifically for ocean import shipments.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, and co-loaders to obtain competitive import freight rates.
• Prepare and share accurate quotations with the sales team and customers.
• Maintain and update rate sheets for ocean imports on a regular basis.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Monitor market trends, seasonal surcharges, and competitor pricing.
• Provide support to sales and operations teams for import pricing-related queries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, shipping line requirements, and customs regulations.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Logistics/Commerce).
• 2–3 years of experience in ocean import pricing within freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of shipping line processes, freight structures, and import documentation.
• Good vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and rate sheet management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
