Primary Assistant Teacher

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of daily lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE/State board curriculum.
  • Lead small-group or one-on-one interventions to reinforce classroom learning.
  • Supervise students during transitions, playtime, lunch breaks, and field activities.
  • Assist in preparing teaching aids, classroom displays, and hands-on educational materials.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
  • Aid in formative assessments, track learning progress, and record observations.
  • Encourage positive behavior using inclusive, child-centered discipline strategies.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide progress updates under lead teacher guidance.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings.
  • Handle additional tasks related to student well-being or school events as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:Required:

  • Minimum: Graduate.
  • Diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education or Primary Teaching.
  • Experience working with children aged 6–11 in a school, daycare, or similar educational setting.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with child-focused pedagogy (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia).
  • Understanding of developmental milestones and educational psychology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,784.79 - ₹25,000.00 per month
