The Primary Coordinator will oversee and manage all academic operations for Grades 3 & 4. The role involves ensuring effective curriculum delivery, academic planning, student progress monitoring, teacher support, and smooth coordination between teachers, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Planning:
- Plan, organize, and monitor the academic activities for Grades 3 & 4.
- Ensure curriculum implementation as per CBSE guidelines.
- Design academic calendars, timetables, and lesson plans in coordination with teachers.
- Monitor the quality of teaching and learning through class observations and feedback.
Teacher Supervision & Support:
- Guide and mentor teachers in academic practices, classroom management, and innovative pedagogy.
- Conduct regular teacher meetings to review progress, challenges, and action plans.
- Facilitate training/workshops for teachers to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Student Progress & Performance:
- Monitor and track student academic performance through assessments, reports, and evaluations.
- Plan and supervise remedial/support programs for students needing additional help.
- Promote holistic development through academics, activities, and co-scholastic programs.
Parent Communication & Engagement:
- Act as the first point of contact for parents regarding Grade 3 & 4 academic concerns.
- Organize Parent-Teacher Meetings and share progress updates.
- Maintain effective communication between the school and parents to ensure transparency.
Administrative Duties:
- Ensure timely completion and submission of academic reports and records.
- Coordinate examination schedules, evaluation, and report card generation.
- Assist in organizing school events, competitions, and inter-class/house activities.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to school policies, CBSE norms, and management instructions.
- Regularly review and update academic practices to maintain high standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Education or relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. mandatory.
- Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience in primary grades, with at least 2 years in a leadership/coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and child-centric pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, mentor, and manage academic operations effectively.
