Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary English Teacher to join our dynamic teaching community. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners to develop strong language skills, a love for reading, and confidence in communication through creative, inquiry-based, and experiential learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons aligned with Cambridge Primary English curriculum standards.
• Foster students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through age-appropriate activities and differentiated instruction.
• Create a joyful, inclusive, and language-rich classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Integrate storytelling, drama, phonics, and creative writing to enhance language learning experiences.
• Use formative and summative assessments to track and report student progress.
• Collaborate with grade-level and subject teams to plan interdisciplinary projects and literacy initiatives.
• Support co-curricular programs, events, and school-wide literacy campaigns.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues in alignment with the school’s values.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Prior experience teaching English in primary grades, ideally in an international or Cambridge curriculum setting.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written) and effective classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with creative teaching methodologies and 21st-century learning tools.
