Primary / Homeroom Teacher (AY 26-27)

GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is inviting applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027 . The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering a high standard of education, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and support the holistic development of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons based on the British Curriculum across various primary year groups
• Create engaging and stimulating learning experiences that promote critical thinking and student engagement
• Differentiating lessons to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback that informs instructional adjustments and supports student growth
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a strong school community
• Participate in collaborative planning and professional development activities to enhance teaching practices
• Adhere to school policies, particularly in terms of safeguarding and the wellbeing of students
• Engage in extracurricular activities and community events that enrich the school experience
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of primary teaching experience, preferably within the British education system
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with parents and students effectively
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
