Primary Teacher KS1 (AY 26-27)

GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is excited to announce an opening for a Primary Teacher for Key Stage 1 (KS1) for the Academic Year 2026-2027 . We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who is passionate about providing high-quality education to young learners and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that engage and inspire KS1 students, following the British Curriculum
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters the emotional and academic growth of all children
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, providing feedback that promotes improvement
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and community events
• Contribute to team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and maintain a safe classroom environment
  
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching in a primary setting, specifically within KS1
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to creating a positive learning environment and fostering student engagement
