Primary Market Research Engagement Manager/Associate Principal

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead multiple consulting projects focused on Primary Market Research /Primary Intelligence in the Pharmaceutical and/or Life Sciences industry. This role ensures high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of insights that drive strategic decisions for our clients. You will also contribute to business development and help strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end market research projects, including study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead project teams (internal and external) to deliver actionable insights for clients in Pharma and Life Sciences.
• Review client requirements, develop proposals, and ensure profitability with minimal senior management input.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction.
• Develop project plans with timelines and deliverables; drive projects to successful completion.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on research findings and market intelligence.
• Identify new business opportunities through follow-on work and proactive client engagement.
• Mentor and coach team members to build expertise in market research and consulting methodologies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience: 8–12 years in consulting with a strong focus on Primary Market Research / Primary Intelligence in Pharma or Life Sciences.
• Proven ability to manage complex research projects and deliver insights that influence business decisions.
• Strong knowledge of research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Established network within the Pharma/Life Sciences industry is a plus.
