We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Teacher to join our school community. The SEL Teacher will be responsible for implementing SEL programs and strategies that support the emotional well-being, interpersonal skills, and overall growth of students. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach SEL Curriculum: Deliver SEL lessons that focus on key areas such as self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
- Create a Safe and Inclusive Classroom: Establish a nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional safety, respect, and inclusivity for all students.
- Assess Student Progress: Monitor and assess students' social-emotional development and provide targeted interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with Staff and Families: Work closely with school counselors, administrators, and teachers to develop and implement SEL strategies school-wide. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to support students' emotional growth and address any concerns.
- Promote Positive Behavior: Implement strategies to promote positive behavior, manage classroom dynamics, and resolve conflicts among students.
- Professional Development: Stay current on best practices and new developments in SEL and attend relevant workshops or training to enhance teaching methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous experience in teaching, counseling, or working with children in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of Social-Emotional Learning principles and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
