1. Academic Leadership
- Provide overall academic direction and ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop, implement, and update curriculum as per PCI/AICTE/University guidelines.
- Promote innovative teaching methods, research orientation, and academic excellence.
- Ensure timely conduct of classes, internal assessments, examinations, and evaluations.
2. Administration and Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the college.
- Manage staff workload, leave, recruitment, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with governing bodies, management, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and accreditation requirements.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), AICTE, DTE, University, and Government norms.
- Maintain faculty qualifications, student–teacher ratios, infrastructure, and laboratory requirements.
- Prepare and submit required documentation for inspections, renewals, and approvals.
4. Financial and Resource Management
- Assist management in budget planning and optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee procurement of instruments, chemicals, library resources, and infrastructure.
- Ensure proper utilization of grants, research funds, and institutional financial resources.
5. Faculty and Staff Development
- Recruit qualified faculty and non-teaching staff.
- Encourage faculty development programs (FDPs), workshops, conferences, and higher studies.
- Foster a positive and professional work culture.
6. Student Welfare and Discipline
- Ensure a safe, ethical, and supportive environment for students.
- Address student grievances, academic issues, and disciplinary matters.
- Promote extracurricular, professional development, and placement activities.
7. Research and Innovation Promotion
- Encourage faculty and students to engage in research, publications, patents, and projects.
- Facilitate industry-academia collaboration and research funding opportunities.
- Ensure ethical standards in research activities.
8. Institutional Development
- Lead strategic planning for institutional growth and accreditation.
- Strengthen industry partnerships, MoUs, internships, and training programs.
- Promote community outreach, health camps, and pharmacy awareness programs.
9. Communication and Representation
- Represent the institution in academic forums, professional bodies, and official meetings.
- Maintain healthy communication among management, faculty, students, parents, and external agencies.
- Promote the college’s profile through conferences, events, and collaborations.
10. Governance and Ethical Leadership
- Uphold academic integrity, fairness, and transparency.
- Encourage inclusive decision-making and effective governance practices.
- Foster ethical pharmacy education aligned with societal and healthcare needs.
